Abstract Edinburgh Collection

Photography has been a passion of mine for many years and over time I have been experimenting with different styles and techniques. One of my favorite projects is a collection of abstract photos taken mainly with cell phones, although a few of them are still taken with mirrorless cameras. These photos are all of different parts of Edinburgh and are meant to show the city from a different perspective.

The abstract style of the photos was achieved by using different techniques such as slow shutter speed, intentional camera movement, and creative editing. I would often take multiple photos of the same scene and combine them in Photoshop to create a unique and surreal image. This technique allowed me to capture the energy and movement of the city in a way that traditional photography couldn't.

Through this collection of photos, I want to show that the city of Edinburgh can be experienced in a completely different way. By focusing on the abstract and surreal elements of the city, I want to inspire viewers to see the world in a new light and appreciate the beauty that can be found in unexpected places. Additionally, I hope to continue to expand this series by taking photos in different cities around the world and showcasing their unique perspectives.
