First Winter
01.02.2022

Introducing my first winter in Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. As an immigrant from Hong Kong, I was excited to experience the snowy landscapes that I had only seen in pictures. I decided to explore Bonaly Country Park, a picturesque location known for its rolling hills and tranquil beauty.

The winter at Bonaly Country Park was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. In contrast to the summer, where the hills are dotted with sheep grazing on the lush green grass, the park was blanketed in a thick layer of snow, creating a serene and almost magical atmosphere.

As I walked through the park, I was captivated by the stunning winter scenery. The snow-covered trees, the frozen pond, and the stark contrast of the white snow against the blue sky created a dreamy and surreal atmosphere. I took out my camera and captured the moment, capturing the essence of winter in Edinburgh.

The experience of my first winter in Edinburgh was truly unforgettable. The beauty of Bonaly Country Park, blanketed in snow, was a breathtaking sight that I will always cherish. It was a reminder of the power of nature and how it can create a peaceful and calming atmosphere, even in the heart of a bustling city like Edinburgh. I look forward to exploring more of Scotland's natural wonders in the future.
